This summer, the Bhuva’s Impact Global (BIG) newsletter is evolving — with a new name, a refreshed design, and plenty of exciting updates!

After my TEDx Talk in 2024, I thought I’d shared it all. But people wanted more — they wanted to understand, and were looking for advice on how to reinvent. I took the time to reflect on what it has meant to navigate Wall Street and Silicon Valley as an outsider and a woman of color, and many times as the first, the only, and the first and the only for decades, in fields where leadership and opportunity aren’t evenly distributed, even today.

Yes, we’ve made huge progress in financial inclusion and responsible technology transformation. But lately, that progress is at risk. Too many talented, marginalized people are still shut out from the chance to bring their ideas to life, take risks, and chase their ambitions. This is even harder for overlooked leaders prioritizing people and planet wellness, for the long-term resilience of their business growth.

Now, when I started out, I fought hard to be heard and respected. But I’m not the type to say “If I could do it the hard way, so can you.” 

Instead, I take actions to change the system and to make it easier for those coming next.

That’s why I wrote a book reflecting on my decades of lived experiences, across countries and cultures, and how change makers, dedicated disruptors, and bold risk-takers — like you — can harness their uniqueness to shape ideas that are powerful and meaningful. This book represents my legacy, a well of information I would have loved to receive in my debut.

📖 My book is releasing in March 2026 in honor of Women’s month and leading into the Earth month in April 2026, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
